Donated Tools Find New Value at Men's Shed Vernon

We get several welcome and valuable contributions of tools throughout the year. These thoughtful gifts range from large pieces of equipment to boxes of screws and bolts. All are put to good use at Mens Sheds in a number of ways:

• Some blend right into our own amazing suite of wood and metal working shop tool cribs.

• Some are donated to new Men's Sheds just starting up in other communities. We have recently supported the new Men's Sheds in Lumby, Sicamous, and Victoria with much appreciated tools.

• Some are sold locally to help pay for our Shed. We are 100% volunteer driven.

• Some tools arrive a bit underappreciated, and in need of some TLC. We have skilled and patient guys who can give otherwise valuable tools such as this Canadian made quality Beaver planer new value and new life.
